My family and I live just outside Monkton in Kent.
Our three children are all now studying at College/University and working, I am at home full time and spend the majority of my day with our dogs. My husband works from home part of the week too
We breed standard and medium sized Goldendoodles and Bernedoodles, we have also just introduced the Schnoodle and Schnockerpoo to our breeding programme and look forward to rearing our first litters in 2024/2025 sired by our mini poodle Yogi.
Occasionally we will breed pure bred litters when we wish to continue our breeding lines, these pairings are well thought out, our parents are all health tested for their breed - we focus on the COI of the litter (majority of which are 0% inbred) to ensure that all puppies have the best possible start in life.
Skenasdoodles holds a five star breeding licence under the new legislation with Thanet County Council - Licence number LN/201900039
Skenasdoodles
Our aim is to only ever breed healthy puppies with fab temperaments for fantastic forever homes.
We will only ever breed from adults that approximately two years of age and over that have been health tested to meet their breed guidelines outlined by the Kennel Club and The BVA. Our females will have rest seasons with a maximum of three/four litters in their life and our males will not be over worked allowing them all time to enjoy our local beaches and fields.
Our puppies will only ever be born and reared in our home. They will be socialised accordingly with our children, other dogs & cats, in our home and garden surroundings.
Puppies will never leave here before eight weeks of age, when the puppies are ready to leave us they will have been vet checked, had first vaccination, be microchipped, wormed up to date and will leave here with a scent blanket, puppy pack, Skenasdoodles information booklet, 12kg bag of food, pet contract, whistle and flea treatment.
We also offer our owners and goldendoodles a lifetime of support through our closed owners Facebook page 'skenasdoodles' as well as litter What's App groups.
We do not send out our health test results via email or any other way. We do however have all test results/certificates here for you to see when you visit our puppies. Our adults are KC registered so some test results can also be found on the KC website. We will need to speak to you over the phone before you come to visit us.
Owning a dog is a huge commitment that can last approximately 10-16 years so please don't be offended if we ask questions about your daily routine and working life - we strive to place our puppies in the best possible forever homes from the very beginning.
Our home is not open to the general public at any point, we do not accommodate any viewings outside of our puppy viewings. We also do not ever allow clients to bring their older dogs with them to the viewings. This is our family home and a calm environment for our adult dogs whilst pregnant and nursing - they simply will not tolerate strange dogs during this time and should not have to together with the fact that we minimize all possibilities of disease and sickness around our young puppies.
